It’s been confirmed that San Jose’s City Hall and Rotunda will have a green glow of lights on Thursday, Nov. 10 to mark National Homeless & Runaway Prevention Month. A Green Light Rally & Walk to raise awareness on the invisible homeless population of youth and young adults in Santa Clara County is being presented by Bill Wilson Center. Following the rally on the San Jose City Hall Plaza, the crowd will proceed through downtown to Bill Wilson Center’s Drop-In Center enclave at 693 S. 2nd Street, where hundreds of homeless street youth, each year, begin their journey off the streets and into transitional housing with a goal of independence and stability.
This is a FREE walk. Everyone is welcome.
